The fashion industry is ranked fourth in terms of its negative environmental impact. Around half a million tonnes of plastic microfibres shed during the washing of synthetic textiles and they end up in the ocean.

It's estimated that by 2030 the fashion industry will occupy 35% more land for cotton and forest for cellulosic fibres.

This is not sustainable.
